Our client is a leading fintech organization with a strong presence globally. They are expanding quickly in Singapore and is seeking an experienced Sanctions Compliance Specialist to join as part of a wider compliance team in Singapore.

Some of the key responsibilities will include

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant sanctions laws and regulations in the Asian market.
• Monitor and report on changes to global sanctions laws and regulations and assess their impact on our business in the Asian market.
• Provide sanctions compliance training to internal staff and ensure that all relevant stakeholder are aware of their obligations.
• Investigate and respond to potential sanctions violations in the Asian market and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• You will work closely with our legal and compliance teams to develop and implement policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate sanctions risks across the company.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field such as law, finance, or business administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in sanctions compliance within a fintech organization or financial institution, with a focus on the Asian market.
• Knowledge of global sanctions laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Chinese language skills are not a must, but are good to have.
• Singapore PR or Singapore citizens only.
