Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a SAP Basis Administrator:
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure continuous system availability (24/7) and overall SAP system health.
Perform system administration tasks, including user/client management, authorization control, system performance tuning, and audit management.
Manage Transport Management System (TMS), background jobs, patch installation, system backups, recovery, kernel upgrades, and OS/database maintenance.
Oversee and conduct Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises for SAP systems.
Monitor and maintain server performance through preventive maintenance measures to ensure smooth daily operations.
Manage daily SAP support tickets in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
Act as the custodian of SAP system architecture, hardware configurations, and integration landscapes.
Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders for system support and improvement projects.
Support and deliver IT projects within timelines and scope.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
At least 1-2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
Strong technical knowledge of SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and S/4HANA environments.
Experience with Linux-based systems and database management.
Proficient in system troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem resolution.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with stakeholders across all levels.
Independent, self-motivated, and capable of leading or supporting technical projects.
