The SAP Technology team is responsible for managing and supporting databases for SAP systems. The team is responsible for complete SAP solutions. You will be participating in a global technical team, you will adapt quickly to dynamic environments, learn new technologies, and develop elegant solutions to complex problems. We are looking for experienced SAP BTP consultant who will be responsible to work on extensions of SAP applications systems using SAP Business Technology Platform Environment, SAP S/4HANA Environment, etc. The candidate should be keen to solve innovative and challenging problems in an environment that fosters scalable and performant engineering and personal growth.

Description

As a team member you will work on diverse portfolio of SAP Application Extension and Integration of S/4HANA using SAP BTP, S/4HANA Conversion, S/4HANA Implementation, and Integration of SAP LOB solutions using SAP Cloud Integration. You will be working in a challenging environment, on dynamic tasks from Proof of Concepts on new technologies to implementation of large-scale projects. You will be able to demonstrate problem solving and multi-tasking skills while working under pressure and exercising your knowledge of SAP Basis and BTP. Key responsibilities will include the following among others: - Accountable for BTP landscape management, availability and performance of all systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for BTP landscapes, configurations, and procedures. - Coordinate with different teams in installation, maintenance and upgrades of systems. - Support SAP systems throughout the lifecycle of projects from time to time. - Plan and execute system upgrades and apply patches as necessary to keep systems up-to-date and secure. - Involve in proactive monitoring and performance tuning of HANA Cloud and BTP applications using tools like SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focus run, and SAP BTP Cockpit. - Administer and optimize HANA Cloud DB instances, including upgrade, backups, recovery, scaling, and monitoring. - Have a complete understanding of the SAP HANA on-premise and cloud environment. - Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. - Investigate and resolve BTP issues, including root cause analysis and preventive measures. - Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations team and service providers - Drive for continuous improvement as a team member

Minimum Qualifications

Deep understanding of BTP architecture, BTP services and tools (BAS, BTP Cockpit.) Knowledge on open standards like Cloud Foundry Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, BTP, Cloud connector, SDI) Expertise in Troubleshooting range of issues and providing root cause analysis from S/4 HANA, SAP BTP Service and 3rd Party surrounding systems. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as GitHub,Jenkins, or Terraform is a plus. At least 3 years of SAP Basis administration experience in large environments, preferably running SAP S/4 HANA. Proficiency in SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of SAP security principles, including authorization, authentication, and role management. Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting HANA Cloud in BTP. Experience in High availability, disaster recovery, system refreshes and backup mechanisms.
