Job Description

We\'re looking for a SCADA & telecom specialist for realising all the SCADA & telecom related systems and interfaces within our project.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Support subproject lead automation and telecom where needed;
• Review of design documents;
• Take ownership in concept and design changes when required;
• Verification and inspections of telecom and automation systems during factory, harbour and site acceptance tests;
• Monitoring and reporting of the progress and quality during the construction at the factory, yard, offshore and onshore stations (incl. repeater station in Hahmswehrum);
• Perform quality checks and tests on subsystems during the construction and commissioning phase;
• Commissioning of the telecom related subsystems and control system (SCADA/HMI);
• Leading and performing end-to-end signal-test of the remote-control systems (SCADA/HMI) to the TenneT locations;
• Supporting with interface issues to grid control centre, marine operation centre, network management centre and 3rd-party interfaces (wind farm owner, external communication networks and systems)

• Ability to work on and offshore (AWMF-standard).
• Minimum 10 years of experiences with different type of communication networks and systems in different types of environments and minimum of 3 years working experience on TenneT projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in working at construction sites incl. offshore locations.
• Good experience in PLC ladder logic programming, SCADA HMI configuration.
• Experiences in different types of local, station and remote-control system (e.g. MACH2, 800xA etc.)
• Experiences in several communication protocol types such as IEC60870-5-104, TCP/IP etc.
• Good German and English languages skills, verbally and in writing
• Team player
• Flexibility and ability to stay at factory and construction sites in and outside Europe for a extended working period.
