Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day project supervision for maintenance and repair of vessels.
• To ensure safety and quality of work for scaffolders (in-house and sub-contractors) assigned under the person\'s responsibility.
• To ensure work is completed in accordance with delivery schedule set by Ship Repairs Manager(SRM)
• To ensure work assigned are carried out effectively and productively within the man hours budget and according to customer\'s specifications and requirement
• Ensure good co-ordination and communication between work team, SRM, other departments and owners when work is carried out.

Requirements:

• Preferably with at least 5 years working experience in a shipyard or in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of erecting and dismantling scaffolding, maintenance, and inspection of scaffolding.
• Knowledge of WSH Scaffolding Regulations and Requirements.
• Able to read and understand Code Practice and Practice requirements for scaffolding

scaffolding tools such as Scaffold Wrench, Magnetic Levels, Pipe Cutters and Tool Safety Lanyards * Familiarity with using Self Retracting Fall Arrestor

• Possess Shipyard Safety Supervisor Cert (SSSC)
• Possess Marine Metal Scaffolding Supervisor Cert (MMSC)
• Possess Working at Height for Supervisor Cert (WAH)
• Able to adapt to changes.
• Possess leadership abilities to manage workers and contractors
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to work at heights
• Only Singapore Citizen need apply
