Area: Bukit Timah Area Duration of Service Contract Period: For 11 months from 3 January 2023 to 30 November 2023. The Authority will arrange corresponding off-in-lieu to be given to the personnel for the additional hours worked on these days. Scope of Services The Services required are set out as follows: -Conduct counselling sessions for students who have made appointments as well as drop-in cases able to provide and sustain consistent quality service with close monitoring and professional follow-up of cases - Facilitate meetings with HOD Student Welfare and to provide timely updated information on student counsellees to HOD Student Welfare (monthly) - To prepare the relevant documents, and meet HOD Student Welfare to update her on the progress of AT-RISK/HIGH RISK cases as well as whenever a case is deemed closed' (monthly) - To regularly monitor and manage the online booking portal for counselling cases (basic training will be provided by the school) - To collaborate with the relevant stakeholders and assist in crisis management, should the situation arise (throughout the duration of the Contract) Applicants should follow school's SOP with regard to consultation with and feedback to relevant school personnel on students counselled, dealing with parents, maintenance of counselling records and handover of cases at the end of the contract to ensure continuity of support for the students. . Applicants should also respect that the counselling records of students are the property of the school and that the records would not be taken out of school at any time without permission by school. . The successful candidate will have to sign an undertaking to safeguard official information. . The counsellor must abide by the 'Ethical Standards for School Counsellors in Singapore'. Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor's Personnel The Personnel shall be a trained counsellor and possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: - At least a Diploma in counselling - At least 2 years of relevant counselling experience preferably in counselling youth - Registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) is preferred. Applicant must have case supervision and is receiving ongoing supervision from a trained clinical supervisor. (A written confirmation of the supervision from the external agency, stating name and training of supervisor, and frequency of supervision must be submitted).
