What the role is:School of Sports and Health - Continuing Education and Training (CET) Associate Lecturer (Hockey)School of Sports & Health, whose vision is to be the leading educator in the areas of sports, health and leisure, invites applicants to join its motivated and passionate team.What you will be working on:The Associate Lecturer will contribute and deliver a Continuing Education Training (CET) course in one or more of the following areas:1. Coach SG Level Full Integration courses

• Modules under the SG-Coach programme and/or other continuing coach education programme such as Values and Principles in Sports, Risk Management, and Theories of Coaching.

• Modules under the SG-Coach Foundational Sports Science programme such as Strength and Conditioning, Sports Nutrition and injury prevention

What we are looking for:

• Qualification in any discipline, but preferably in physical education, sports coaching, sports science or related disciplines.

• At least 4 years of formal lecturing/teaching experience in institutions of higher learning or MOE schools. Those whose qualifications are not in related disciplines should have at least 5 years of sport coaching experience.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding a full NROC membership and is a member of Fencing Singapore.

• A self-driven individual and a team-player with a strong sense of responsibility and disciplined to complete duties to meet time and quality targets.

• Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, and able to pay attention to details.

• Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office software.

• be able to perform other administrative tasks, such as invigilation and marking of assessment.
