What the role is:You will be part of the administrative team of the School of Technology for the Arts.What you will be working on:Duties include:Manage end-to-end procurement operations such as Small Value Purchases/Invitation To Quote /Request For Quote/Direct Contracting/Invitation To Tender (SVP/ITQ/RFQ/DC/ITT ) transactions, based on government procurement guidelinesManage end-to-end procurement process for School Overseas Trips to ensure trip proceeds and completes successfully, including managing student payments and post-trip insurance claims, if anyGoods receipt officer for procured assets and/or servicesManage the administration required for student overseas internship, including collating pre- and post-trip submission documents required for grant, visa, and insurance applicationsCollaborate with Office of Corporate Communications to collate publicity materialsWork with marketing team to schedule and track postings of social media content and Electronic Digital Mail created by marketing team membersOversee the process of work claims for associate lecturers and full-time staff, and ensure claims are filed in an accurate and timely manner in WorkdayOversee, plan and coordinate school events, including recruiting and guiding student assistantsCoordinate logistics for School Advisory Committee (SAC) meetings, and track SAC member contract expiry dates to facilitate their renewal/retirementMaintain department\'s SharePoint site with updated information and data, and guide staff on how to use SharePointAdditional duties/projects as assigned by your reporting officer.What we are looking for:Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a related fieldAble to work independently as well as in a teamPossess strong project and event management, critical thinking, communication skills (oral and written)Able to work within tight deadlinesAble to multitask and work on concurrent events/projectsProficient in IT (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint)Meticulous and detailed (especially for procurement work)Prior experience in project management and/or procurement work will be an added advantageAbout Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Management and Communication, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.
