Job Scope:\xc2\xb7 Set up laboratory equipment and materials for science experiments and practical lessons.\xc2\xb7 Ensure all equipment and apparatus are available and in good condition before lessons.\xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.\xc2\xb7 Regularly check and maintain equipment, repairing or replacing items as necessary.\xc2\xb7 Manage and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations.\xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.\xc2\xb7 Assist in restocking materials as needed together with the Science Coordinating teachers.\xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of experiments, supplies, and equipment maintenance.\xc2\xb7 Labelling of equipment and apparatus.\xc2\xb7 Discarding obsolete equipment and apparatus.\xc2\xb7 Stocktake checklist yearly.\xc2\xb7 Displaying of safey information in the labaotory.\xc2\xb7 Assist teachers with technical support during experiments.\xc2\xb7 Assist Science teachers in Science departmental projects and events.\xc2\xb7 Aid in the demonstration of experiments if required.\xc2\xb7 Document any incidents or accidents in the lab.Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Min GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 level or equivalent\xc2\xb7 Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for understanding and following safety protocols, documenting lab activities and effectively communicating with teachers and students.\xc2\xb7 Certifications in laboratory safety and first aid are advantageous.\xc2\xb7 Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably within an educational environment.\xc2\xb7 Experience with primary school science curricula and experiments is beneficial.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to laboratory work.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting experiments.\xc2\xb7 Proficient to create excel spreadsheet for stocktaking and schedules.Contract Period: From 2/1/2025 to 30/12/2025Salary: $2200/monthWorking Arrangement:

• Monday to Thursday: 7.30 am \xe2\x80\x93 5.30 pm
• Friday 7.30 am \xe2\x80\x93 4.30 pm

Inclusive of 1 hour lunch breakService not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
