A newly created Scientific Communications Manager job opportunity has just become available at a prestigious consumer goods company which is setting up its APAC HQ here. Based in Singapore, the Scientific Communications Manager is responsible for the implementation and localisation of the company Global Vet strategy through 11 countries in Asia Pacific, inclusive of a mix of business units and importers.

About the Scientific Communications Manager Role:
Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, the Scientific Communications Manager will be in charge of enhancing professionals\' endorsement in Asia Pac. The candidate will have the opportunity to influence and work with a network of veterinarians. This person will be responsible for setting the long-term scientific communication strategy for Asia Pac, identifying priority markets and priority channels, organising seminars and conducting lectures to make the company visible and credible in the eyes of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up a network of key opinion leaders throughout APAC, engage them and find partnership opportunities
• Deploy, create and localise all scientific materials
• Work in very close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams with a spirit of "one demand"
• Implement and localise the company\'s global vet strategy
• Organise seminars and conducts lectures for veterinarians, breeders and pet shops
• Deploy, create and localise scientific materials
• Support the APAC Marketing Director in building a long-term vision and engaging stakeholders behind it
• Hold responsibility for the scientific communication budget management

To be successful in this Scientific Communications Manager role, you will need to hold a veterinary diploma with experience in the pet care or animal pharma industry in APAC.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years\' relevant work experience
• Strong presentations skills, confident in conducting lectures in front of large groups
• Existing connections with vet KOLs within APAC including China
• Combination of scientific expertise and business acumen
