ISCE2 is seeking a talented Scientist to be part of a dynamic team to develop novel sustainable chemistry for raw ingredients used in RNA applications. This position offers an opportunity to work in advanced organic chemistry and catalysis to develop scalable, efficient technologies for applications in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about science and sustainability, self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate may be responsible for but not limited to:

- Design and development of catalysts or sustainable routes to the target molecules
- Generate, analyze and present data to the team and external stakeholders
- Participate in the development of project strategy and communicates results within a team
- Presentation at regular project meetings; and to internal/external collaborators
- Presentation and review of relevant literature
- Write and publish high impact papers in peer-reviewed journals, alongside preparation of technical disclosures, patent applications
- Mentorship to junior staff, students, or researchers as required
- Represent the institute at industry meetings and events
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- PhD in Chemistry, Catalysis or its equivalent
- Strong technical competency and knowledge in synthetic and organic chemistry
- High proficiency in analytical techniques like HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, NMR
- Knowledge or interests in nucleic acid chemistry and biological chemistry would be advantageous
- Adaptable to team-oriented goals and requirements
- Good problem-solving skills
- Rigorous data analysis and interpretation skills
- Meticulous, attention to details and organized
- Excellent oral/written communication, documentation and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task
