The Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Awareness and understanding of the CPBB & T&I Transformation Strategy and how it and our teams are measured, which includes coaching stakeholders when needed on the why\'s and how of various agile approaches and techniques.
  • Lead the Transaction Reporting stream of the portfolio and help ensure compliance with the requirements provided. This includes regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, G20 derivatives transaction reporting and any other new trade reporting regulatory obligations from time to time.
  • Deliver various Regulatory Implementation initiatives within CPBB globally.
Business
  • Understanding of the regulatory framework for Wealth Management products and segment, including but not confined to MiFID II, EMIR, G20 derivatives reporting, CSDR, SRD II.
  • Prepare product, sprint backlogs and user stories to ensure that process and system changes delivery is aligned with the programme objectives.
  • Assess the impact of the change across products, applications and documentation.
  • Manage communication of status updates to key stakeholders including Senior Management through presentations and reports.
  • Work with the relevant transaction processing systems and reporting teams to prioritize and implement the changes related to the initiative.
  • Work with team to perform end to end functional testing and confirm compliance with the underlying regulatory obligations.

  • Engage the required stakeholders to design efficient processes or changes required to comply with the Regulatory framework.

  • Work with respective WM and PvB business and functional leads (such as Product Heads, COO team, Legal, Compliance, Risk & Finance) towards the implementation of the initiatives and drive the transition plan.

  • Support the Product Owner and other stakeholders while building a trusting and safe environment for the team where problems can be raised without fear, blame, retribution or judgement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work well under pressure to manage competing demands, complex situations, people and technology.
Risk Management
  • Assist the delivery leads in managing project risks and regulatory impact of the delivery risks.
  • Scrum and Agile approaches to managing Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependences in conjunction with your stakeholders and team.
Governance
  • Scrum and Agile approaches to managing Product Governance in conjunction with your stakeholders and team.
  • Manage the regulatory exceptions monitoring across all in-scope jurisdictions and remediate the reporting gaps.
  • Present the exceptions summary for the Transaction Reporting Governance Forum, PSC, ESC and NFRC.
  • Assist the COO team and Delivery Leads respond to the regulators\' queries from time to time.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of experience and understanding of the regulatory framework for Wealth Management products and segment, including but not confined to MiFID II, EMIR, G20 derivatives reporting, CSDR, SRD II.
  • Understanding of the technology stack involved in the reporting process for the above regulations.
  • Experience in coaching and helping teams and stakeholders in their agile learning, personal and team transformations.
  • Deliver various Regulatory Implementation initiatives within CPBB globally.
  • Techno functional skill set, ability to run SQL queries, interpret and prepare designs involving XMLs, understand APIs and other interfacing mechanisms.
  • Wealth Management products and services knowledge, including product technical, reporting implications and process life cycle.
  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a recognized university.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Thorough understanding of Wealth Management regulatory framework (MiFID II, EMIR, G20 Derivatives Reporting, SRD II, CSDR).
