Job Summary:
The SDWAN Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the implementation of software-defined wide area network (SDWAN) solutions for clients. The role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of SDWAN projects within the scope, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage the end-to-end SDWAN project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, design, implementation, testing, and handover to the client.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Create project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against them.
Ensure project teams are properly staffed, trained, and equipped to deliver the project on time and within budget.
Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, and senior management.
Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, policies, and standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the networking or telecommunications industry
Experience in implementing SDWAN solutions is required.
Strong understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching, and security
Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
The SDWAN Project Manager typically works in an office environment but may need to travel to client sites occasionally. The role requires flexibility in work hours to accommodate project timelines and deadlines.
