Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Work closely with the Supervisors, and leaders to develop and track a production plan (tools conversion) reflective of the defined goals as set by the Production Planners to meet the on-time delivery.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, clarifies Parts priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved.
• Identify the best tools to help manage workflow and optimizes their deployment to maximize the outputs.
• Identify processes that can improve project efficiency and act as a change agent for them.

Production Control and Scheduling

• Provide techniques and performing activities that focus on controlling or regulating processes, manpower, and materials to fulfill requirements for shipment. The focus is on producing quality products with a minimum cost at the shortest possible lead time

Training

• Provide training and/or training subject matter that supports employee skills training and education in manufacturing-related topics. The focus is on multi-skill development, job expansion, and job rotation to improve productivity.
• Motivate, support and provide guidance to production staff
• Perform periodic reviews and development opportunities for Supervisors, and Leaders.

Safety and Housekeeping

• Manage or oversee the activities (5S, Workplace Safety, and Occupational Hazards) to ensure conformance with safety instructions and promote good housekeeping/organization practices.

Cost

• Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.

Process and Documentation

• Provide instructions for production staff to conform and manufacture the product that will meet the given requirements.

Skills/Education

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics etc.)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor or electronics industry, with at least 3 years in team leader role
• Possess Analytical and Problem Solving skills
• Possess Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint & Excel), SAP and Production Control System
