Your day to day
As a Security Officer, you will be taking care of guests and hotel colleagues security. You will be patrolling the hotel premises, doing your best in possible investigation situations and ensuring incident reporting of accidents or incident are properly documented. • Report to Manager on all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards • Control access points as assigned to ensure no unauthorized entry • Maintain keen vigilance at colleague entrance where colleagues, Casual labours and visitors check in • Initiate/identify project work required in light of your trade throughout the hotel • Conduct monthly fire safety inspections • Conduct regular locker checks with Human Resources • Conduct random checks of key registers in various departments in the hotel and report discrepancies • Be familiar with Visitor Management System (VMS) & Key Management System (KMS) • Perform shift duties as assigned by the shift in-charge • Ensure all operating procedures are adhered to • Responsible for the cleanliness of Fire Command Centre (FCC) • Be alert & professional at all times • Patrol guest floors, heart of house and check entry and exit points • Check all packages and passes of employees entering and leaving the building • Monitor CCTV cameras • Support & co-ordinate with all departments on routine matters and during emergencies • Arrange Night Transport requests for colleagues • Respond to emergencies as a member of CERT / Certified First Aider • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
What we need from you
Ideally you possess a valid Security License from Singapore and is able to stand on long hours. You also have ability to identify risk and security details in the hotel. You are fluent in guest interaction.
