5 days work week -8.30am to 5.15pm Transport pick up at Outram Park and Jurong East salary up to $6,500 with $360 fixed allowances AWS with Attractive Bonuses and BenefitsThe client is a leading plastic manufacturer looking for Senior Accountant / Accountant to join their team.The incumbent is required to assist Accounts Senior Manager in the running of finance, accounting, Costing and tax-related tasks of the company. Directly reports to the Senior Accounts Manager based in Singapore.Challenges: Establish finance and accounting operational policies and processes, and follow and ensure the proper implementation of corporate governance policies and process improvements etc. Oversee & process employees' claim reimbursements and hands-on support to the various departments for local approval & payment process via SAP system Handle daily accounting operation using SAP and manage periodic payments via E-Banking Manage month-end closing and submit monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements to Head Office via DIVA system Assist to prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts with Budget vs Actual analysis Manage daily cash-flow & communicate with banks and financial institutions for interest rates, forex transactions. Liaise with HQ Global Finance team in Japan on Global Finance request Associate with external service providers for preparing and filing tax return; Withholding tax, Goods & Services Tax & Corporate tax return Provide professional advice and assistance to support the company's business in terms of accounting, finance, and taxation, including credit control Work closely with finance management of Head Office in Japan as well as local office in Singapore Address accounting audit and tax audit as necessary Drafting of statutory financial statements in compliance with FRS/IFRS reporting standardWhat It Takes: Bachelor of Finance & Accounting or relevant field At least 7 years' experience in finance, accounting and tax role in industrial companies, OR 4 years' experience in audit firm Certified Public Accountant (CPA) holder is a plus Experience with multi-national companies and manufacturing industry would be an added advantageInterested candidates please email your latest resume in words format to sarah[AT]talentsatwork.sgSarahReg No: R2198293EA License No: 21C0501*We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.
