Role We are searching for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to institutionalise best practices for accounting and finance standards across the Group and lead the finance transformation workstream. You will be expected to have strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge to ensure consistent application across the Group, as well as experience in global tax planning and legal structuring to effectively manage tax exposure and ensure compliance to global standards. As a key member of the Group Finance team, you will engage with senior Clermont leadership on financial matters and provide insightful analysis to drive business performance. • Develop the finance function into an increasingly trusted steward of the corporation’s capital resources and chief guardian of its reputation
• High potential and high performing individuals will be posted to Operating Companies as part of their Finance development path
• Manage and streamline day-to-day accounting of entities across multiple jurisdictions and oversee the Accounts Payable function
• Improve cycle time for accurate month end closing, year-end closing, tax return filings and preparation of the financial reporting
• Manage the year-end audit process efficiently
• Produce quarterly Group performance packs that provide insightful historical and forward-looking management information to Chairman and Senior Management
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and ensure consistent application across the Group
• Global tax planning and legal structuring to effectively manage tax exposure and ensure compliance to global standards
• Work closely with Divisions to institutionalise the best financial standards across our portfolio companies
• Contribute to all stages of private investment transactions: origination, due diligence, structuring, execution and divestments
• Manage transfer pricing and intercompany invoicing matters
