Job Description

• Supervise in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, budgeting and management reporting;
• Prepares monthly consolidation & Disclosure package of MPL Group accounts;
• Organizes and controls Finance Dept operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgetary and financial reporting and cashflow management;
• Review and analyses records of financial transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of entries;
• Develops, maintain and analyses budget and reports comparing budget with actual;
• Review and submit GST returns quarterly, statistic returns and tax returns;
• Liaise with tax agents on company’s and subsidiaries tax affairs;
• Review audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Provides accounting related information to internal and external auditors;
• Prepare monthly flash and quarterly rolling forecast;
• Plans and co-ordinates the successful completion of six-month stock take;
• Perform feasibility studies on new business venture and P/L simulations;
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in order to maintain staffing flexibility and efficiency.

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience with Degree in Accounting or equivalent (eg: ACCA or CPA)
• Working knowledge of Agresso Financial System/ ERP
• Experience in the Retail industry will be a plus
