We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with a statutory reporting experience to join our Accounting Policy & Reporting team. As Senior Accountant, Statutory Reporting, you will be responsible for the end-to-end statutory accounting process reporting to Accounting Supervisor and will work closely with cross functional organizations to drive the timely filing of the statutory report. You will work with Technical Accounting and peers in EMEA/AMER/APAC regions to standardize the global statutory reporting approaches and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead timely and accurate completion of statutory reporting requirements and escalate project roadblocks as needed.

Preparation of local statutory TB, GAAP adjustments and draft financial statements to external auditors.

Collaborate with various internal groups, including accounting, tax, legal, treasury, finance and real estate.

Setup/streamline/improve local statutory audit process.

Liaison between corporate secretary, local authorities and local external audit team in fulfilling filing requirements.

Building strong relationships with both group and local external audit teams in ensuring timely preparation of audit deliverables and filing of financial statements.

Being the main point of contact between group and local external audit teams and other accounting functional teams in preparing PBC lists and resolving issues arise during audit process.

Working closely with Corporate Technical Accounting Teams in understanding GAAP differences between USGAAP to local GAAP/IFRS.

Key point of contact across the business and other accounting functional teams to provide interpretation and implementation of new local accounting standards/IFRS or complex areas of accounting.

Taking the lead in ad-hoc accounting/system projects as required.

Qualifications/Experience:

Require a Degree in Accountancy / ACCA with at least 5 years of work experience.

Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)

Prior experience in statutory reporting is highly desirable.

High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously

Work independently with strong problem solving and analytical skills and have ability to recognize and recommend solutions

Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Strong leadership skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely with global internal and external contacts

Positive and a good team player.

Possess a strong sense of internal control and a keen eye for details and process improvements.
