Take ownership of monthly bookkeeping activities to produce robust financials in-line with US GAAP and Company policies, ensuring all financial closing timelines are met
Provide first review of monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations, addressing reconciling items and raising any concerns with the Finance Lead
Work closely with the Shared Services Team based in Chennai and Project Controls to support timely and accurate issuance of invoices and collections
Monitor AR, AP, inter-company transactions and settlements to ensure adequate funding for various bank accounts
Be a key coordinator for the statutory reporting, providing input to the audit and statutory accounts preparation processes and ensuring delivery to deadlines
Assist in driving standardized and efficient business processes
Assist in the budget process, cash forecast, internal audit, SOX Compliance and Control activities
Support any other assignments or initiatives as required
Job Requirements
A qualified Accountant with Degree in Accountancy/ACCA
Has 5-7 years\' of relevant experience
An understanding of US GAAP is a plus
Experience working within the day-to-day financial operations of an organization
Desired experience in working with shared services team based in India
High level of curiosity and interest in driving process improvement
Proactive and able to work independently
Adaptable to rapidly changing workplace and business environment
Flexible and committed to meet stipulated deadlines
