Job Description


The incumbent will be working as Senior Accountant. S/he will be responsible for all aspects of the financial accounting of Crane Worldwide Logistics (S) Pte Ltd. S/he would be expected to provide direction and mentorship, developing the team to be effective partners to our stakeholders.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports to the Finance Director & assist in overseeing the finance team.
  • Handling full set of accounts including GST returns, tax matters, and audit matters
  • Ensuring AR, AP, bank reconciliations, journal, and general functions are performed in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Cashflow management
  • Manage the month-end closing of accounts and ensure that the company\'s books are in the accordance with the group policies and standards.
  • Ensure all intercompany reconciliation, finance reports, and schedules are up to date.
  • Assisting in the annual budget and forecasting process
  • Liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and professional advisors on related matters
  • Identify opportunity for continuous improvement in department procedures/processes; implements changes as needed to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team.
  • Exemplifies strict adherence to company policies and procedures, actively engaging when appropriate to ensure compliance is evolving with organisational needs and general business progression.
  • Provide continual coaching and support to the Finance team.
  • Assist in other areas of the Finance Team as appropriate and when required to ensure that all operational targets are met.
  • Continuously improve processes and execute optimization initiatives.
  • Provide general support to the organization as required.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
REQUIREMENT
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years or more experience in full set of the accounting function
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven ability to produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
