Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Accountant oversees various financial accounting and reporting duties, such as tax, treasury, internal control, compliance, and audit, including bank reconciliation. This role involves executing monthly financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and company accounting policies and procedures, and managing the annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for the Club. In addition, the Accountant provides proactive finance support as assigned by Management and trains and coaches team members on utilizing CMS, Fixed Asset System, and other financial systems. Job Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and performs month end closing activities and ensure accurate reconciliation
• Prepare and consolidate financial reports in a timely manner for Senior Management and Committees.
• Perform accounting analysis and reporting to support decision-making
• Assist Director of Finance with quarterly forecast
• Prepare internal and external audit schedule, liaise with Auditors and Tax Agents for statutory reporting and compliance of tax filing
• Monitor accounts receivables and payables and reconciliation of prepayments and accruals
• File tax and GST returns
• Initial and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to automate workflow and improve productivity
• Attend Finance and Audit Committee meetings and others in the absence of Director of Finance
• Attend Executive meetings

• Recognized Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent

• 6 years of experience in full set of accounting and financial reporting, preferably in hospitality or service sector

• Fully conversant with reporting standards and local tax regulations
• Knowledge of ERP or Club Management System (CMS) preferred
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently and is a good team player
