Senior Accountant

Our client is currently in search of a Senior Accountant due to business needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for production accounting, inventory accounting, costing and plant accounting in Singapore (including toll manufacturing facilities, trading business and manufacturing plant). It is also a direct contributor in enabling and exploring FTA trade in goods qualification.

This position directly supports the Singapore accounting team in assigned tasks such as payment activities. It will also be involved in tasks or projects, within finance or cross-functionally or regionally, to support process, controls or system improvement in these related areas.

To be successful, you should possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (ACCA/CA/CPA) and have at least 7 to 8 years of work experience in production accounting, inventory accounting, costing, plant accounting as well as FTA trade in goods qualification. Suitable applicants should possess working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and is well versed in major ERP system such as SAP and Microsoft office applications (especially Microsoft Excel).

Prior working experience in multinational environment within a chemical trading and manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
