Job Description

Our client is a developer and investor in the Industrial/ Logistics sector and provides flexible and innovative customer-focused solutions for specialty commercial and industrial real-estate development and investment. They are looking to hire a Senior Accountant in Singapore.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial consolidated reports on a timely basis.
Manage accounting system for timely month end closing and invoicing.
Prepare GST returns and tax filing submissions.
Prepare intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
Review monthly bank reconciliations and other key balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare required schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purpose.
Support Senior Manager in developing disclosure packs for group of subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls in accounting processes and financial systems.
Identify and recommend automation and digitalisation initiatives (including financial system upgrade) to enhance efficiency within Finance and across departments.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant and bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance.
At least 7 years of relevant experience preferably in asset management or real estate industry and with prior Big 4 audit experience.
Good technical knowledge on financial reporting standards, taxation and consolidation principles.
Proficient in using various financial software tools (such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders across the organization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and integrity.
