Senior Accountant/assistant Finance Manager
Job Description
The Company Our client is a global leader in the downstream petrochemical infrastructure sector with an established presence in Asia. As they continue their expansion plans in the region, they are seeking an Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their Singapore Finance team. The Role Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work independently in oversee and ensure accurate and timely financial accounting, perform on-going and period end general ledger postings, preparation of financial statements including IFRS reporting. You will also be involved in managing fixed assets, cashflow management and projections, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting as well as all corporate tax and GST matters. Last but not least, you will play an active role in participating in global process improvement initiatives such as new ERP system implementation, process automation, etc. Your Profile As the successful candidate, you will have a degree in accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, particularly experience in handling general ledger or full sets of accounts, closing, fixed assets, external reporting and tax.
- Prior experience in external audit will be essential.
- Exposure to SAP will be preferred but not a must.
