Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly accounting entries for all loans related products, investment portfolios and reconciliation in accordance to the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and ensure smooth and accurate month-end closing;
• Prepare quarterly SFRS(I)9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computations and annual recalibration exercise and review;
• Review daily journal entries, bank reconciliations and work performed by junior staff;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly reports after month-end close for submission for regulatory and management reporting
• Liaise and handle queries and requests from both internal and external auditors;
• Prepare annual budgeting reports;
• Cover duties when peers are on leave

Job Requirements:

• Degree/diploma preferably in area of business, banking, or finance related subject
• With 5 - 7 years of work experience in financial industry will be an added advantage
• Must have strong knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standard & Expected Credit Loss
• Highly organised and meticulous, with an eye for details.
• High proficiency in IT skills, xls spreadsheet applications (macro level), Microsoft word, PowerPoint and databases.
