DESIGNATION : Senior Accounts Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES
NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Senior Accounts Associate to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing our company\'s general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and records. If you have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this position. General Ledger Management

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end accounts closing
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Account Reconciliation
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze account balances to identify and rectify issues
  • Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
  • Cash projections and cashflow management
Compliance and Regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist in GST computation and compliance activities
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
  • Recommend and implement best practices for financial record-keeping.
Audit Support Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Any other business Adhoc projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or Diploma in Accountancy
  • Proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
