Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Senior Art Director to join our team at Castlery, a leading furniture retailer known for its commitment to quality and innovation. As a Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the conceptualisation and execution of all photography content, ensuring it aligns with the brand identity and resonates with our target audience. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual representation of our brand across various platforms.What you\'ll be doing1. Lead the Concept and Execution of Photography Content:

• Develop creative concepts for photography content that aligns with the brand\'s image and messaging.
• Oversee the execution of photo shoots, ensuring adherence to creative briefs and brand guidelines.
• Work closely with photographers, stylists, and other team members to bring concepts to life effectively.

2. Conceive, Develop, and Produce Overall Look and Feel of Creatives:

• Develop the overall look and feel of creatives, including but not limited to advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and digital assets.
• Ensure consistency in branding across all visual elements and touchpoints.
• Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices to continuously elevate the brand\'s visual identity.

3. Manage Photo Shooting Process:

• Coordinate the procurement of props, set design, and other necessary resources for photo shoots.
• Oversee the entire workflow of photo shoots, from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
• Maintain high standards of quality and ensure that deadlines are met efficiently.

4. Collaborate with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content, and Product Development, to understand their objectives and deliver creative solutions that meet their needs.
• Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to achieve optimal results.

What you\'ll need

• Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of photography principles and techniques.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work and creative projects.
