What the role is:At Family Life Group (FLG), our mission is to build strong and resilient families and support them through all stages of life towards the vision of making Singapore a great place for families. The Services Division (SVC) administers Government services and schemes that enable and encourage family formation. The Baby Bonus and Leave Branch administers the Baby Bonus Scheme and the Government-Paid Leave Schemes, which are key initiatives to support Marriage and Parenthood. We are looking for individuals who are keen to contribute to MSF\'s mission of fostering strong and happy families to join our team. This will be an excellent opportunity to hone your skills in (a) grant governance and scheme administration involving operations and policies; (b) regulations and compliance; and (c) planning and executing service delivery projects.What you will be working on:

  • You will lead a team to deliver on a range of operational policy and planning work involving people, systems, and processes in the administration of the Baby Bonus Scheme. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be involved in leading the team on the following areas: o Service delivery projects, including digital transformation efforts. o Give input to policy for new schemes and/or scheme enhancements, including translating policy into scheme design and ensuring they are aligned with legislation o Carry out ops policy and service journey reviews to remain relevant to changing societal trends o Develop ops policy guidelines and SOPs to improve work processes o Front and respond to complex queries, appeals. \xe2\x80\xa2 You may be required to review and analyse data to support cross functional projects
What we are looking for:
  • Self-driven and meticulous with strong analytical skills and growth mindset. Open to innovating and thinking out-of-the-box, with working experience of at least 8 to 10 years \xe2\x80\xa2 Service-oriented and citizen-centric \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good inter-personal skills working with teams and partners across public and private sector \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant work experience in Ops policy, service delivery related work, change management work is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Note to existing Public Service Officers: MSF is seeking a candidate at the MX10-equivalent level for this position.
