What the role is:The Surveillance & Enforcement Division is the intelligence, investigation and enforcement arm of the Ministry of Health. You will be part of the team that provides a comprehensive range of surveillance and intelligence services to the Ministry and supports the enforcement arm to ensure compliance with Ministry\'s legislations and regulatory standards. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will be required to lead and manage the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and oversee the conduct of intelligence and surveillance into breaches and potential breaches of MOH legislations and regulatory standards; \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and improve operational linkages with other intelligence agencies, especially in field intelligence and surveillance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop intelligence infrastructure including the development of the appropriate systems to support intelligence work; \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop data mining tactics and strategies that are in line with intelligence and enforcement objectives and strategies; \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct horizon and environmental scanning to flag out developments of interest for tracking and monitoring purposes; \xe2\x80\xa2 Co-ordinate and develop basic intelligence and surveillance capabilities in MOH.What we are looking for:Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary education in any discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess related working experience in established law enforcement agencies, with relevant intelligence experience, at a minimum rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Good grasp of investigative and intelligence issues and processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to direct surveillance, operations and field intelligence \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional and tactful in dealing with all levels of staff \xe2\x80\xa2 Adaptability and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess a sense of reality and appreciation of the prevailing socio-political environment and overarching policies guiding regulatory or enforcement priorities \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous, independent and objective, with an inquisitive mind \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated, driven and willing to take on new challenges or additional responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 High standards of professionalism and personal integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to thrive under pressure and appreciate a dynamic environment with constant new challenges.
