What the role is
This position in the Communications Cluster of the Public Service Division supports the team's efforts to engage public officers through the: • Management and operations of a Public Service internal communication and engagement platform and; • Creation of visual designs for both digital and print media (emails, posters, tool kits etc) for key events and campaigns.
What you will be working on
In this role, you will be assisting with the below: • Planning and execution of initiatives to encourage the adoption and usage of the internal platform • Daily, weekly and monthly operational processes to upkeep the internal platform • Managing common inboxes, including PSD QSM inbox • Develop effective and engaging designs in a timely manner for different communications channel • Translate business and marketing needs into impactful and creative visual concepts • Devise and implement digital strategies to help reach our target audiences • Manage simple QSM queries using template or pre-prepared replies Track and upkeep all feedback received
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you will need: • Strong skills in visual communications or communications design; • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and related industry leading software • Strong skills in creative storytelling • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel functions like v-lookup, pivot tables and macros. • Excellent communication skills with good command of written English • To be resourceful, organised and meticulous. • To multi-task and work under tight deadlines • To work independently *Candidates must submit a design portfolio to be considered for the role.
