About Department and Purpose of the Position
As a (Senior) Assistant Manager in Enterprise IT, you play a crucial role in lead the management of NUH cluster systems accesses, establish and implement policies and procedures in information governance and technology risk management practices within the organization. This role will report to the NUH\'s Head, Informatics Systems and Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO).

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Compliance

  • Lead the team in working with relevant stakeholders to establish the data governance and compliance process that are practicable
  • Advising internal management on the implementation plan for new data governance and compliance process
  • Plan and support the rollout of new policies and procedures by engaging the relevant stakeholders
  • Provide advice to NUH Staff on all data and research compliance related queries.
  • Evaluating all NUH research and non-research requests and ensuring they are executed accordance to NUHS policies
2. User Access Governance
  • Establishing and reviewing IT procedures to ensure controls are adequately established to align with the IT governance framework
  • Plan the implementation of new user access policy and procedures
  • Lead and organise the periodic review of the organization-wide System Role-Based Access Matrix
  • Provide support in resolving ID requests pertaining to clinical applications and research projects
3. IT Audit Management
  • Establish risk-based IT audit workplan and determine the scope of review in conjunction with the institution Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO)
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure that the audit work carried out adequately addresses the key risks in the organization within a required timeline
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure management action plans for control issues identified are followed-up in a timely manner.
  • Work with CIO Office to prepare the requested IT audit items requested by auditors.
  • Deliver ad-hoc projects which includes, but not limited to investigations, policies and procedures, training etc.
Key Requirements
  • Degree holder in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in either Data and Access Governance and compliance, Access Auditing or similar Governance and Compliance functions
  • Prior experience in healthcare industry, business analysis, project coordination, communications or change management are added advantages.
  • 2 or more years\' experience in project management
  • Prior experience in healthcare industry, business analysis, project coordination, communications or change management are added advantages.
  • Experience in Data and Access Audit OR implementing Data and Access governance framework / policy
  • Inquisitive, meticulous and process good logical, analytical and process flow skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and different levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills desired
  • Proficient in Office Productivity software suite; especially on Microsoft Excel
  • Certified in Project Management (PMP) is would be an advantage
