OUR CLIENTOur Client is a leading private equity investment firm with a strong track record in the Asia-Pacific market. Their mission is to identify and invest in promising companies across various sectors, including telecommunications, digital, Technology and Tech Services. They are seeking a Senior Associate Investment reporting directly to the managing partner to expand and support investment on their third fund.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in most investment processes. You\'ll be responsible for conducting technical due diligence on potential investment opportunities within the tech service sector. Our ideal candidate combines analytical rigour with practical execution, is adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities

• Technical Due Diligence:

• Conduct thorough technical assessments of target companies in the tech service sector.
• Evaluate software development processes, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, and other relevant technical aspects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess scalability, reliability, and innovation potential.
• Financial Analysis:

• Build and analyse complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Assess revenue projections, cost structures, and growth potential.
• Operational Support:

• Assist in monitoring current investments.
• Engage with senior management of portfolio companies to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate quarterly reporting and follow-up action items.
• Deal Execution:

• Participate in deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Support the investment team in executing transactions.
• Networking and Relationship Building:

• Leverage our network of banks, strategic partners, and industry experts to support portfolio companies.
• Attend board meetings and engage with stakeholders.
• Adaptability and Hands-On Approach:

• Be willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute across various aspects of the investment process.
• Adapt to changing market dynamics and industry trends.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Education:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master\'s in Finance) preferred.
• Experience:

• Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, or related fields.
• Exposure to the tech service sector or relevant industries.
• Deal execution experience (due diligence, financial modelling, valuation).
• Familiarity with APAC markets.
• Skills:

• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data.
• Technical due diligence expertise.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Certifications:

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or other relevant certifications.
• Attitude:

• Curious, adaptable, and ethical.
• Passionate about the tech service sector.
