The Role Responsibilities

  • Perform loans and limit/collateral check to ensure client’s instruction and position is in adherence to local policies and procedures.
  • Escalation of credit violations (shortfalls, limit exceptions and unauthorized violations) to Front Office for resolution.
  • Provide advice to Front Office on clients’ limit and collateral position, including credit violations.
  • Investigate escalations and complaints pertaining to credit operations and provide timely resolution.
  • Work closely with local and group Credit Risk on credit related matters.
  • Liaison with external parties for regular update of collateral value.
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of collateral.
  • Work closely with GBS counterparts for credit operations related matters.
  • Regular review and update of procedures to be up to date with the current changes.
  • Participate and contribute to the bank’s initiatives on process re-engineering and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to clarify and resolve issues where required.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required and communicated.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of experience in Private Banking Operations
  • Experience in private banking credit reporting/monitoring is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of T24 System is preferred
  • Demonstrate interest and understanding of risk and control concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel
  • Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented and able to think out of the box to improve controls and efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to accept new assignments and challenges in a fast paced and rapid changing environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preferably graduate degree in banking/finance with relevant credit experience.
