Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architecting, enhancing & deploying low-latency networks/ technologies
• Enhancing network infrastructure\'s performance by monitoring, & performing service level reviews, & QoS (Quality of Service))
• Maintaining DevOps infrastructure using Plug-ins (e.g.: Puppet, Jenkins, Foreman, etc.)
• Developing, & maintaining Network Documentations, Device Configurations, Circuit Information & Operations\' Network Diagrams
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g.: DevOps, Developers, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required to have 8 - 10 years of Senior SRE Network Engineering working experience (with trading infrastructure)
• Designing & optimizing networks, identifying & troubleshooting network issues
• Experienced working with various network equipment (e.g.: Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
• Solid experience in network operations (i.e.: WAN/LAN, VoIP, QoS, VRF, Network Security, Enterprise Wireless)
• Working closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Developers, etc.), Trading Vendors & Telcos, as & when necessary to
• Comfortable & able to provide on-call support for critical issues, if any
• Familiar with many (not all) of the following tools/ technologies:

• Project/ Problem Management tools (e.g.: Jira, ServiceNow)
• Operating Network Capacity Management tools (e.g.: Corvil, NetScout)
• Linux System Administration
• Scripting (Python)
• Network Automation Framework (e.g.: Nornir)
• Network Monitoring System (e.g.: LibreNMS)
• Open-Source Library (e.g.: Netmiko)
• Infrastructure Resource Modeling (IRM) Application (e.g.: Netbox)
• Network Certifications (e.g.: JNCIE/ JNCIS, CCNP/ CCNA, ITIL)
