You have at least 8 years of strong experience in banking, technical analysis, data analysis, testing and structured documentation
You have strong financial markets background and good understanding of Collateral management business processes is a definite plus
You have strong technical analytical skills required to understand complex business requirements and the existing data and document them in simple and clear language for development teams
You have strong technical skills in databases and write complex SQLs to perform deep dive data analysis and reconciliations
If you have knowledge of understanding the code, it would be a definite plus
If you have prior knowledge in Algo application, it would be a plus too
You have strong understanding of the test-driven approach and the ability to perform in depth testing of any application / solution
Prior experience with applications, technology processes and procedures, data retention standards and other technology aspects is desirable
You are proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc. and exposure to any other automation tools to perform data analysis is desirable
You are a good team player and collaborative. You will be expected to liaise with both technical and business colleagues locally in Singapore and at other locations in UK, India, New York, and Chicago.

What you can expect Global Collateral Technology supports Collateral Management Operations in Global Markets Operations Technology (GMOT) with several applications to manage their day-to-day collateral business processes across four lines of businesses - OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures & Options (Exchange Traded Derivatives) and Prime Brokerage. It is currently implementing several multiyear initiatives to support all the four lines of businesses. This position will be part of the large number of initiatives to implement this global strategic platform.
What you will do
Participate in a large data migration project that is part of the larger strategic initiative
Perform detailed analysis, write functional specification document, validate them with various stakeholders, support the conversion of the specifications into technical solutions, whilst adhering to Bank policies and procedures
Escalate to Project Lead for risks, concerns and other issues identified during the life cycle of the project
Participate in software testing cycles and data reconciliations. This includes, but not limited to, conducting tests in non-production environments, and comparing the results to requirements, supporting business users with their testing and assisting with software implementation into a production environment.
Document any testing evidence to a level, which can be understood by project team members, Vendors and Auditors.
Participate in project meeting routines
Provide regular updates to project lead, to evidence progress against plan for assigned deliverables
Provide structured status reporting on the overall progress of the projects
Communicate with all stakeholders across various locations on all project related matters
