Role Responsibilities
Job Summary
FM Technology is responsible for building next generation software to solve the business problems. To help deliver on this commitment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our expanding development team. In this role, you will work closely with Business, Developers, QA and various senior stakeholders in analysing business requirements using Agile methodology. You'll use your strong analysis skill in capturing requirement and deliver innovative solutions for the business.
Regulatory and Business Conduct

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • To deliver high quality business analytics solutions for the business
  • Work with the business and product owners to prioritise and shape the product backlog for prioritisation by business value.
  • Be responsible for providing different teams with user stories and coaching to define the acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Consult with and advise product owners when defining product release and timeline.
  • Assist with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements, supporting team members with their work where required.
  • Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals.
  • Participate in the creation of low or high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for assigned Scrum team.
  • Working with stakeholders to draft test cases which can be traced back to the requirements.
  • Support technology delivery and testing teams in solution delivery and implementation.
  • Writing UAT test cases, analysing testing data, test flows and testing strategies.
  • Address defects and risk evaluation and mitigation.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor or Master degree in business studies, finance, computer science or information technology from a top tier university.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • 10+ years Business analysis experience within financial markets domain and expert in writing user stories, test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Senior stakeholder management experience, strong reasoning, problem solving, innovative and analytical skills.
  • Experience with agile delivery, ceremonies and rituals.
  • Familiar with data models, entity relationships, SQL, stored proc and functions.
  • Good understanding of client on-boarding process.
