Responsibilities

• Sourcing for New Products. Source for alternate supplies, reducing cost and improving quality and reliability. Acts as technical interface between component/production suppliers and development engineers, determining new and alternate sources

• Ensure PR / PO are released timely and accurately, based on MRP or request from engineer or from buy list.

• Ensure suppliers open PO, matched with K&S

• Liaison with logistic and finance on, receiving, invoices / payment issues

• Monitor outstanding purchases order and expediting on urgent materials

• Liaison with USA counterpart for parts shipment, goods received, drop shipment

• Attending conference call / presentation, at night, after office hour due to USA time different.

• Maintain operational focus with emphasis on customer service and day-to-day resolution of process and requisition-to-pay issues

• Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery, Lead-Time, product quality or performance, and inventories

• Drive and manage ECO implementation, rework, purge & cost impact

• Manage inventory, ensure rejected and upgrade parts to be sent to suppliers (DMA / RTV)

• Support Spares, options orders

• Coordination on FA, MVT, EVT.
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in direct materials purchase with good exposure in supplier and commodity management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management

• Good communication skills

• Positive, able to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP will be an added advantage

• Understand Bill of Material, able to interpret technical drawing/ specification and familiar with Engineering Change Process

• Strong analytical, planning and interpersonal skills as well as experience in engaging stakeholders

• Ability Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is an added advantage
