We are looking for an enthusiastic Regional Senior Category Manager - pandamart to join us in scaling our platform, to digitalise businesses in Asia, uplift rider livelihoods and build a hyper-convenient platform for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the \'business owner\' across different categories and markets, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact foodpanda business.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key CPGs through formulating Joint Business Plans and strong Trading Terms to help drive profitability across APAC markets.
  • Source and build strong supplier base to negotiate terms improvement, secure supplier advertising spend, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods.
  • Employ data-driven decision making to drive the category. Provide insight to the commercial team and work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply.
  • Utilizing data collection to review and analyze performance of campaigns and advise on opportunities for improvements & further developments through MBR/QBR with CPGs.
  • Lead Joint Business Plans discussions with CPGs on foodpanda\'s behalf and help the brands grow on the platform, across all verticals.
  • Drive ad revenue via the strategic partnerships for all in-app assets and panda ads.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to improve availability, inventory levels and reduce wastage.
  • Work cross functionally with Regional, Global and Local Product, Supply Chain, Sales Operations and Marketing to deliver strategic projects.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-8 years experience in FMCG Key Account management/ category management.
  • Superb business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management (both internal and external).
  • Excellent presentation skills, an eloquent story-teller and proposal creator.
  • Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and supplier management experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Great communication skills (both oral and written) are a must.
  • Mastery of MS Office (particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
