Initiate discussions with Product company on improvement and customizations of reports and new enhancements.
Ensure site visits are done every year for Connected Services clients as per sales agreement.
Takes ownership of post sales issues and drive factory to deliver solutions with deadlines.
Manage contract renewal, connected services tiering solution, and technical support to BDM to reach target.
Track and record keeper of service contract on the action plans, and follow up quarterly and drive factory for solutions.
Ensure all system maintenance tasks recommended in quarterly report are delivered.
Communicate with AP Marketing Team to ensure up-to-date information in marketing materials.
Track and record keeper of inventory specifically for connected services Warranty & RMA.
Project Management:
Taking ownership in ensuring operational efficiency of Corrosion and Erosion project, meeting -or- exceeding customer\'s specification, schedule and budget.
Develops a system to ensure good engineering standards are practiced constantly across all project management; range from development of technical & commercial proposal, equipment procurement, facilitation of implementation phase, commissioning phase and final documentation.
Focus on understanding customer needs and solving relevant pain, improving customer satisfaction.
Taking ownership for putting in place effective process to ensure smooth transition from equipment and service quotation to implementation and commissioning.
Continuous enhancement of existing business practices and processes to improve productivity and profitability of all projects.
To take ownership for project budgeting and tracking of project execution.
To anticipate risk trends for project development and provide realistic forecast to operational manager on potential risk and opportunities.
Technical Support & Site Deployment:
Ensures that the services are delivered as per sales agreement.
Supports sales, marketing & business growth activities like project pursuit, project discussions, seminars, presentations & product demonstrations.
Takes ownership of deployment/site activities and drive country service teams to complete installation on time.
Ensure Accountability on site activity completion with review of commissioning report and database.
Oversee the commissioning of Permasense systems at customer site.
Maintains clear record of tools and device inventory in countries and regular update of site related activities in CRM.
Supports additional tasks and assignment given from time to time, including site visits, site survey and customer follow up.
Drive country service team to follow up with customer quarterly to ensure system health.
Involve in specific projects & provide support in technical requirements to maximize business opportunities.
Conduct training to external customers, sales, LBPs & service organization.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Instrumentation & Control/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
With at least 2 to 3 years relevant experience in process control/instrumentation preferably in Measurement Products.
Fitness & confidence working at height and in industrial environments.
Computer protocols knowledge & PLC configurations will be added advantage.
Able to troubleshoot site installation & service support issues.
Willingness to travel regularly including offshore.
