The role will range from business consulting / analysis to project management activities and will require versatility from the individual.
Types of projects include business consulting such as digital transformation, business process improvement, IT implementation primarily for life, non-life and reinsurers but from time-to-time may also include insurance related companies (brokers/agencies, third-party administrators, etc).
Support for market insights release and business development (pre-sales/sales activities) for the insurance clients.
Main tasks will be related to business analysis and project management on an end-to-end basis including:
Business requirements: gather, analyze, improve, prioritize
Project management: plan, track, ensure
Problem solving: identify, mitigate, resolve
Apart from the above, involvement in pre-sales/sales activities will be required as and when needed:
Solutioning/Proposals: plan, suggest, improve
Requirements:
Apart from native-level English, requirements include:
Working Experience at Insurance company (life, non-life or reinsurance): 1-3 years
Experience as Business Analyst/Project Management: 1-3 years
Involvement in IT implementation projects at insurance company
Nice-to-haves\' are:
Foreign language (Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, etc). to liaise with foreign language speaking stakeholders, as this role may cover regionally.
Insurance accounting knowledge
Experience in any \xe2\x80\x9cdigital\xe2\x80\x9d related projects or usage thereof such as:
Business Intelligence/Data Analytics
Robotics Process Automation
Digital Portals (sales, claims, etc)
Policy Administration System
Personal Attribution:
The consultant will be working on projects with various types of insurers with varying forms, must be well versed in end-to-end policy lifecycle as well as its peripherals.
Working experience at insurance company is a must (whether as full-time or contract or out-source), furthermore, ability to adapt and understand to a completely different business model is also required, as ABeam\'s client ranges from underwriting-results-based insurers to cash-flow-based insurers.
