Job Description

The Content Producer is responsible for producing strong audience-focused content for Home & Decor\xe2\x80\x99s digital and print platforms, in line with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s editorial strategy. Beyond the digital and print platforms, you will also work on other content formats like video. As an essential creative component of the editorial team, your key KPI will be to produce quality and engaging content for the Home & Decor community across all platforms and formats. You will also be required to create strong commercial content for our advertising partners.

Responsibilities

\xe2\x88\x99 Pitch creative and relevant story ideas and work with the Editor-in-Chief to decide the best ways to present the content across the various platforms

\xe2\x88\x99 Conduct interviews with newsmakers, interior designers and homeowners to produce content with the aim of engaging the audience and community

\xe2\x88\x99 Write/Edit assigned features and meet the deadlines stipulated for print and online

\xe2\x88\x99 Attend industry events as a representative of the Home & Decor editorial team

\xe2\x88\x99 Produce interesting short-form videos for Home & Decor\xe2\x80\x99s social media

\xe2\x88\x99 Assist with video projects and photo-shoots where necessary

Requirements

\xe2\x88\x99 Keen interest in areas relating to the Home & Decor brand (eg, interior design, space planning, furniture, property news and property-related financial matters, etc)

\xe2\x88\x99 Experience in creating engaging content for web as well as print

\xe2\x88\x99 Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and best practices in online writing

\xe2\x88\x99 Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

\xe2\x88\x99 Work efficiently under pressure to meet pressing deadlines

\xe2\x88\x99 Strong command of English language

\xe2\x88\x99 Comfortable with using video production apps

\xe2\x88\x99 Experience with InDesign and Premier Pro is preferred

\xe2\x88\x99 Knowledge in basic storyboarding and feature writing

\xe2\x88\x99 A flair for storytelling through various channels and formats
