About the jobAbout the roleThis Senior Controller will be part of the APAC Finance & Controlling team and plays a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency through process automation, serving as a strategic business partner for legal entities, and prioritizing tasks including forecasting, management reporting, sales controlling, and cost controlling.Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner for legal entities, aiding in the development of business cases, pricing strategies, and performance analyses across the region.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and pinpoint additional business prospects.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with finance and accounting teams throughout APAC countries.
  • Supervise and assess financial statements prepared by local finance teams to ensure accurate recording of financial data.
  • Prepare consolidated regional financial statements within specified reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in financial record-keeping methods.
  • Assist in the formulation of forecasts, budgets, and long-term business plans.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting personnel responsible for financial reporting and budgeting in APAC countries.
  • Regularly analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for reducing costs and improving working capital.
  • Provide guidance on costing and inventory management and ensure adherence to internal controls while seeking opportunities to enhance the internal control and process environment.
A successful candidate has the ability to combine their robust analytical skills, strategic insight, effective communication, and unwavering integrity to navigate intricate financial environments and foster organizational growth with precision and insight.Key Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics with a preference for professional certs: CPA, ACCA, CFA or similar certifications.
  • Minimum 8 years in accounting and finance management, with experience in the medical devices and/or safety technology sectors preferred.
  • Proficiency in IFRS and experience in group consolidation accounting.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting reporting timelines.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethics, with knowledge of SAP and/or Navision/Microsoft Business Central ERP systems.
