Architect HA and DR Solutions HADR/TSA failover concepts for critical db2 db servers . Installation and upgrade of db2 database on 9.x/10.x/11.x version under Linux/AIX platforms . Must have HADR/TSA implementation experience . Good scripting skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks . Strong experience in db2 database online backup with full and incremental backups and backup tools NetBackup, Networker . Strong experience on Applying Fixpack and special build patches in standalone and multi-node cluster servers . Should have good command over speaking and writing. . Strong experience on database and SQL queries tuning using db2advis and snapshots . Experience in netgain and Truesight monitoring configuration for db2 databases . He will be customer facing for all operational issues and activities . Strong experience on configure and troubleshoot HADR database using TSA . Strong experience on configure and troubleshoot CDC replication components . Strong experience in online, offline db reorg and update stats activities . Implement backup and recovery of db2 databases for various scenarios . Administration over DB Objects including Tables , Clusters , Views , Procedures etc. . Good in Impact Analysis of DB Change / DB Design Change etc. . In-depth understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, HADR, TSA) . Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards . Must have experience in Database tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, snapshots, tuning advisor etc . Responsible for optimizing database manager and db parameter settings and raise PMR with IBM for fixing the issues . Able to work in 24 by 7 Support Requirements: . Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree . (MCA / BE / BSC or SC computer science) . DB2 certified DBA expert is must . Having experience in CDC replication will be added advantage . Having previous banking BAU support will be added advantage . Having experience on additional database technologies MSSQL or Oracle or Sybase will be added advantage . At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. . Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network / System/ Database Admin or equivalent. This is a 12-month contract position with opportunities for renewal.
