Job Description

Content Lab is the content marketing and creative unit of SPH Media. We work closely with a wide range of advertisers to develop original ideas that optimise their results across digital, print, outdoor and audio platforms, with a huge emphasis on performance.

We are looking for a Senior Designer to bring a fresh perspective to our work. You should be someone who loves going beyond the tried and tested, ready to explore new creative solutions without losing sight of relevance and purpose. You should be madly in love with layout and typography, and see design as part of the story - not just the artwork itself.

Most importantly, you must have the ability to make design come alive on a range of formats - whether it be impact on a big page of print or interactivity on a small mobile screen.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Working with the Senior Art Director, you will have the opportunity to explore the full scope of visual creation on a wide range of projects for both advertising and content, across all SPH Media platforms and social channels.

Your responsibility is end-to-end, from brief to visual design and layout to finished artwork. The perk: You are never stuck with working on just one client.

• Take on the full scope of design work for advertising and feature content.
• Work with writers and editors to brainstorm ideas that that bring advertisements and content to life in digital, social and print formats.
• Be involved in brainstorming sessions of cross-platform content campaigns.

Requirements:

You should be a dynamic team player with the ability to work effectively with people of all levels.

• 3 to 5 years experience in a design house or creative agency
• A portfolio that showcases your creative thinking in design, layout and typography

Experience working on both digital and print campaigns is an advantage
