Here's some of our recent work: Project Stand Red in partnership with Standard Chartered Bank https://www.sc.com/standred/ QBE created Swans Fan Story https://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/582931/qbe-swans-story-puts-you-in-control Mastercard Live Trophy at The Rugby World Cup https://www.thedrum.com/news/2020/07/07/why-mastercard-created-the-world-s-first-live-trophy-the-rugby-world-cup THE ROLE As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible to/for: Collaborate with the Creative Director/Regional Creative Director and Octagon team to support creative ideas and support the vision throughout the creative process Understand our clients, their business needs and objective, while being able to deliver and execute design solutions to solve the business problem at hand. Execute design across multiple programs using text, symbols, pictures, colours and layout to execute design solutions that meet the requirements of the project, including print collateral, large format prints, digital assets and other graphic needs. Monitor print production process to ensure that design integrity, colour accuracy and image quality are met. Continue to support creative and offer solutions whenever a barrier or hurdle is presented. Work closely with the creative and accounts team to deliver awesome work on time and on budget. Share information, ideas with other team members and foster best practice across all technology throughout creative deliverables. Collaborate and support the creative process with the Creative Services Director to deliver great work. Ensure all creative outputs are up to standard before we deliver to accounts team and client. With the support of the creative team, help to execute and visualise ideas to be presented and also to be executed and delivered Foster relationships and support our internal stakeholders to help our team negotiate and communicate the creative vision. Work with our Creative Team to support creative growth within our business and deliver awesome work which earns attention! SKILLS/EXPERIENCE To be a successful candidate, you will be/have: A passion for sport & entertainment - this isn't just a job for you. Relevant experience in Sports & Entertainment Creative. Minimum of 4 years of experience in creative. Proficient in design software packages including Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, InDesign, etc. Experience in working within a creative team to deliver awesome work. Able and comfortable to operate within a dynamic, global working environment across different time zones as well client's office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of personality types. Proven track record in experiential, sponsorship activation or content production backgrounds will be highly valued. Excellent communications skills - presenting, visualizing, written and verbal. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects. Proven track record of executing at least 2 x international campaigns over the year. Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed. At minimum an understanding and passion for creativity and ideas which earn attention is a must!
