We are partnering with a leading design & build firm in Singapore that specialises in commercial office fit-outs, interior design, and refurbishment projects. As the company enters an exciting growth phase, it is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with strong conceptual and technical design skills, proven experience in end-to-end project execution, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to create innovative, functional, and people-centric workspace environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop design concepts for office, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Translate client briefs into creative, functional, and cost-effective design solutions.
- Prepare design proposals, presentations, and tender documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and site teams to ensure design intent is carried through to delivery.
- Manage client presentations, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
- Oversee design documentation, detailing, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and workplace innovations to inspire fresh ideas.
Key qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience in interior design, preferably within a design & build environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing commercial or office fit-out projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage clients independently.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
