Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Perform Electrical Engineering design for Offshore Oil & Gas facilities such FPSOs, platforms etc
Responsible for study, design, specifications and services related to MV (11kV)/LV(690/400v) Switchgear, MV VFDs, distribution system etc
Have detail design experiences on Offshore MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) system/ancillaries including transformers etc
Handle Electrical packages such as UPS, Distribution Boards or supported Mechanical packages reviewing engineering documents
Have database Engineering experience, developing load list, cable schedule, control schematic, etc.
Perform Technical Bid valuation for basic Electrical packages
Utilise database Engineering i.e. SmartPlant/SPEL to produce Load List, Cable Schedule, etc.
Able to work independantly and also together with a team of specialised Electrical Engineers/Designers for the complete detail design

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 7 years\' of relevant experience with Electrical design involving Offshore Electrical power and distribution system
Familiarity with global Electrical codes, standards and regulations i.e. IEC/BSI, etc.
Knowledge of Electrical system for assessment/compliance studies and reports
Understanding of Electrical system design
