Strategy Evolve and own the location, service and organisation strategies for the Internal Cloud Platforms Team areas. Assist application teams in designing and Migrating applications into new datacentres. Design and implement new technologies across the Internal Cloud Platform Team. Accountable for Lifecycle Engineering across the team. Business Ensure the highest levels of service availability and performance across the Internal Cloud Platforms support areas. Constantly drive efficiency initiatives in Internal Cloud Platforms, especially on vendor spend and organisational design. Ensure vendor relationships are appropriately managed and deliver value. Manage the support costs within budget. Processes To design and implement operational reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) against these SLAs and ORAs. People and Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives. Employ, engage and retain high quality people. Risk Management Ensure that risks associated with the Internal Cloud Platforms Team service are identified, recorded and managed. Governance Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role. Understand and comply with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions the Group&rsquos policies and procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters. Our Ideal Candidate 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Delivery Experience in managing or operating VMware environment. Experience in managing senior stakeholders Experience in designing and architecting in large infrastructure organisations.
