Work with the customer, vendors and support team in project scoping, project planning, implementation, upgrade and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Assist in monitoring project schedule and managing vendors in the implementation and upgrade of network infrastructure ensuring timely and successful acceptance and completion.
Provide quality oversight for processes and project deliverables and ensure deliverables processes and documentation are compliant to prevailing security and governance requirements.
Ensure the smooth transition of the implemented infrastructure from the project team to the operation & maintenance team.
Organise and participate in meetings with support teams and vendors.
Organise and participate in project reviews and post-mortems.
Provide updates and regular reports to stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
At least 3-4 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry, preferably in one or more of and not limiting to the following areas:
Configuring, monitoring, recovery, troubleshooting, diagnosis, system maintenance of IT infrastructures involving server, firewall, network equipment.
System-level IT threat and risk assessment, network solution architecting, design, planning, implementation and validation.
Familiar with operating systems such as Windows and UNIX systems.
Have experience in in liaising with the user and managing vendor to define business requirements and deliver technical solution.
Technical certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, ITIL) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Possess strong communication skills and analytical capability to resolve technical issues.
